Hello!I need (liebherr lg1550 or lr1750 super lift)joysticks/stick operating instruction, so from where joysticks?left or right hand? crane turn left,right-main boom up down-"back boom"-jib control,-counterweight up down -winch up down?... And so on. From where I may instruction pics? Link?... THANKS! |

hello! I asked about cranes before, and I ask again; could anybody tell (only generally!), which hand joystick makes these functions and which way(forward,backward,left,right): crane turns, boom goes up/down, winch pulls up/down? I ask this becouse, I´m building model crane´s remote-control. |

Sami, Welcome to the Kran-Forum. Nice to have you on board! 
I would be very pleased to answer your question, but I'm not a crane driver myself. The last time I was sitting on a smaller crane for some days is approx 12 years ago, so I'm absolutely not sure about the steering. I would guess that the main movements are the same like the smaller cranes. But I did sent a message to BUZ who is also a member of this board. Perhaps he might be able to help you. Sami, Good news for you. BUZ gave me the information about the crane-steering as follows: Meanwhile principally the functions of the joysticks are standardized. Right hand joystick: Forward / Backwards: Hook down / up. Left / right: Boom up / down Left hand joystick: Left / right: slewing left / right Forward / Backwards: second winch down / up (optional). Larger cranes often have a third joystick for using additional functions, f.e. third or fourth winch, etc. This is not placed on the arm because ist it is not used that often. It is placed on the right beside the drivers chair on a console. I hope this answer is helpful for you. ___ Carsten Thevessen
