Have a look at this PDF to learn more about the Telematik-System from Liebherr: http://www.hydro-crane.com/liebherr/LIEBHERR-LINEUP6.pdf ___ Carsten Thevessen

B...b...but, how can that cylinder in the boom be placed there when all the other extensions take place? I still don't understand that. |

Hello AIN_002 ! The cylinder is positioned inside the main boom on the bottom and it doesn't change its place. This cylinder grabs the chosen extension (in german e.g. Tele 1, Tele 2 or else) and moves it into the desired position (in Liebherr cranes usually 46% / 92% or 100% of extension length). Then the cylinder locks the extension in that position and moves down again, prepares the next extension, grabs it, moves it, locks it, etc... So the only Tele that can be moved is the one in the bottom position ! You have to think about this before chosing you working boom length and your working load. Another method is to use steel wire ropes (sometimes even chains) to connect the extensions and move them simultaneously at once with one cylinder. I hope this could help you. Ask again, you're welcome. |

Thank you very much! I did never thought about that the cylinder could change what tele (extension) to move! That was very interesting ![]() |
